Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Open Day

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital’s 11th annual Open Day will be held on Saturday 20 May.

There will be fun for all the family including a Kids Zone with activities such as face painting and music therapy. Bring along your teddy bear for a health check-up at our special teddy bear hospital or take a ride in an ambulance!

This year we will be showcasing our values and our plans to redevelop our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) which will enable us to treat 700 more critically ill adults and babies every year. There will also be opportunities to apply and interview for jobs and find out about apprenticeships.

If you, or your teenager, are considering starting a career in the NHS many of our teams will be showcasing their services and are available to answer your questions. There will also be our usual behind-the-scenes tours, health advice, family activities and live music to kick of the event at 11am.

Our Foundation Trust Governors will be available throughout the day in the Information Zone to speak to members about the hospital and the work they do representing patients and our local community
