Crowned The Drinks Business Consumer Drinks Event of the Year in 2016 and now in it's 38th year, this year's Festival will give people the chance to explore wines from all over the world with unlimited sampling, as well as new and exciting ways of enjoying them.

Laithwaites' Wine is hosting events so that those attending the Festival will be able to enter a tasting theatre with a difference with Tasting in the Dark; a pitch black environment that forces guests to rely on their ears, nose, mouth and touch. Anyone feeling particularly brave can also take part in Laithwaites' RedHeads Bushtucker Trial, a wine and insect pairing challenge which pits consumer’s knowledge of wine with the flavours of everything from cockroaches to mealworms.

The show is a chance to meet over 90 winemakers, who come to the UK for the event to share their wines and the stories behind them. You can take a step into the historic riverside Le Chai au Quai winery in Bordeaux through virtual reality tours, as well as enjoying more than 380 wines all under one roof, including a new selection of exclusive wines from Turkey.

Hosted by renowned critic, Hugh Johnson OBE and Tony Laithwaite, there will be a special appearance from TV host Oz Clarke, offering his advice and opinions on the best of British Sparkling.
