Absent Kelly’s Rock’n’Roll Club: Another Summer

We kick off festival season in style with our Rock ‘N’ Roll Club in the heart of Soho!

After impressing promoters Absent Kelly at previous shows, Another Summer are back to headline! Local London trio, Another Summer will be bringing with them their brand of Pop/Rock overlaid with distinctive, New Romantic-esque vocals.

Joining us all the way from Leeds for the show is Tropic, a freshly formed 6 piece indie band influenced by a range of styles from Zimbabwean Highlife to Electronic Rock. The band’s fresh, upbeat sound is sure to get you dancing.

Local Londoner quartet Purple Beagle draw on influences from Led Zep,Blondie and Fleetwood Mac to create catchy blues rock for the masses!

Born and raised in New Zealand, Frank James is a singer-songwriter who now resides in London, where he’s gaining great reviews and spots at huge venues like Islington’s O2 Academy with his laid back folk.

Alex Dobson will be bringing with him his brand of folk/pop that has seen him support big names like Swim Deep and get a host of fantastic reviews and radio airplay.

Bringing his blues vibe to the Alleycat stage is Ashley Sherlock. This Mancunian’s sound is draws on his soulful voice and mixes it with elements of folk to create something memorable.

On top of the great live music, we’ll also have Goldseal’s Ian Daniels on the 1s and 2s ‘til 3!
