Our first ever show at Whitechapel’s Urban Bar will make the venue live up to it’s name, with a bill of jazz, R&B and electronic acts.
Topping the evening’s bill is RHEA. This South London songstress plays unique and distinctive electronic music with an edge of jazz. This sound has gained her a ton of great reviews, including this little gem from the Guardian “… Stirring, tremulous vocals fill you up like the sunrise on your last morning”.
Bex Grant and her band will be joining us on the evening. Blending elements of reggae and gospel, Bex’s sound is laid back and infectious.
After impressing us at previous shows, Armada Named Sound is back. This electronic music project combines elements of everything from trip hop to trance creating something totally unique.
Singer-songwriter Tialian will be bringing her brand of nu jazz/ R&B to the evening. With a voice that is smooth and captivating, Tialian is making waves on the scene right now.
Opening the show is Nina. Blending folk and soul together, Nina’s sound is totally her and is truly beautiful and is turning heads left, right and centre.
