WABI - A Taste of Japan

WABI is a brand new London event launching on 7th-8th July, which will celebrate Japan’s unique food, drink and culture and introduce Londoners to Japan’s finest exports.

This is a unique opportunity to sample the tastes of Japan under one roof at London’s Lindley Hall. Guests will be able to try and buy hundreds of different sakes, teas, food and Japanese products rarely accessed outside Japan.

Exhibitors include Japan’s National Tourism Organisation (JNTO), Japan Airlines (JAL), The Kyoto Distillery (makers of Japan’s first gin) and Yukata, one of Japan’s biggest food and drinks companies, with many more to be announced.

For those wanting to learn more about Japanese cooking and cocktail making, Wabi will be hosting unique masterclasses throughout the two-day event in partnership with Shoryu and the Japanese Centre. Classes include Shoryu Japanese Tiki Cocktail Masterclasses, Poke Cooking Demonstration hosted by Kinu Yukawa from the Japan Centre and a Yutaka Sushi Masterclass. Masterclass tickets start from £5 and must be purchased in conjunction with an entry ticket.

The first session will be hosted on Friday 7th July from 5.30pm-9.30pm, with a further two sessions being hosted on Saturday 8th July from 11am-3pm and 4pm-8pm.
