To Make a Record

A unique free entry exhibition showcasing stories, objects, records, photos and music memorabilia from the 1940s - 1970s in Kingston. Come and explore this interactive exhibition that will illuminate Kingston’s musical past covering everything from Bowie’s first performance as Ziggy Stardust, the Decca Record Factory in New Malden and the arrival of Jazz music with the American Army in Bushy Park.

Kingston RPM has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England and the Royal Borough of Kingston. The project delivery partners also include, Kingston Music Service, Kingston History Centre, Kingston University and the Rose Theatre.
