In a unique promenade performance, Abney Park Cemetery are opening their gates for audiences to join Red Riding Hood on her journey to grandmother’s house, to follow the breadcrumbs with Hansel & Gretel, encounter the mischievous Rumplestiltskin and meet a very unusual Godfather.

After five sell-out and critically acclaimed productions, including Alice In Wonderland and Macbeth, Pandemonium Performance are staging Grimm’s Fairy Tales, their biggest production yet, at Abney Park this July, this time taking the audience deep into the heart of the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, they know and love.

Written and directed by Paul Linghorn, the play brings to life the fantastical stories of the Brothers Grimm in a spellbinding show that will capture the imaginations of adults and children alike, promising to be an unmissable opportunity to see these tales in a haunting yet beautiful and singular location.

Abney Park, in Stoke Newington, is one of the 'magnificent seven' garden cemeteries of London. It is a woodland memorial park and Local Nature Reserve, managed by the London Borough of Hackney.

Grimm's Fairy Tales has four different entrance times; please ensure you arrive at the time stated on your ticket. Latecomers may not be admitted.

Please be aware this production may not be suitable for children under the age of 10.

Abney Park is a nature reserve, so please be aware that the ground can be uneven, and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues or allergies to insects, flora and fauna. Appropriate clothes and footwear is recommended.
