Lucky Voice partners with Bumble to launch the UK’s first Speed Duetting night !

Forget dinner for two, online chats or speed dating, they’re all passé. Now finding Endless Love is all about grabbing a mic, donning a wig (or a full costume – Lucky Voice Islington boasts a fully stocked fancy dress shop) and crooning sweet nothings. What’s good enough for Beyoncé…

Song birds with a desire to be Crazy In Love can begin their quest for perfect harmony by popping down to Lucky Voice Islington on Wednesday June 28th (and greeted with a complimentary drink, to get the romantic juices flowing). In keeping with Bumble’s ‘girls call the shots’ ethos, the female of the species will be put into the private karaoke rooms to wait for their potential dates (and pick their favourites from the playlist, with over 9,000 songs to choose from). If you know every word to One Direction’s back catalogue, now is your time to shine.

Speed Duetting involves the girls taking their place in one of the private karaoke booths, to wait for their male counterparts. Said suitors then arrive and serenade the girls, before the songstresses amongst them return the favour. Yes, just like in Grease – swoon. After this, they’ll all sing happily together, whilst eyeing one another up subtly (or not so subtly, depending on how many vinos have been drunk). After ten chart-topping minutes have passed, they’ll be moved on, whilst the girls get to adjust their wigs, quaff their drinks and analyse the blokes that they think look Wonderful Tonight.

Finally, after each lusty duet has been sung, guests will be invited to fill out a card, naming the person they fancy. If Two have indeed Become One, Lucky Voice will reintroduce them via email, and allow them to enjoy The Power Of Love, happily ever after. Even without the discovery of true love, anyone with the Bumble app can also enjoy two-for-one glasses of wine and beer until 10pm, making it a win-win, either way.
