Summer 2017 sees the Hatton Garden BID host a gem of an event celebrating all things bridal: The Hatton Garden Festival will see two days packed with entertainment, competitions, talks, workshops and the big Diamond Hunt – perfect for those who are thinking of popping the big question or any magpie who simply just loves anything that sparkles.

Across the two days, visitors will have the get to experience a wide array of fascinating insights into the world of jewellery including:
- Ring design workshops
- Insights into diamond and precious stone trends
- Private tours of jewellery workshops
- Free initial engravings
- Diamond purchasing talks
- Free valuations and appraisals
The street will also host prosecco receptions, an on-street croquet pitch and garden party as well as the opportunity to explore the Hatton Garden foodie scene and the colourful Leather Lane Market.

The festival also sees a fantastic line up of live music acts ranging from Motown and soul to opera and folk, the programme includes:
Friday July 21st:
- 12:00 - Opera singer Deborah Holmes quoted by The Independent as having ‘the most unique voice on the stage.’
- 14:15 - BBC Radio 4 favourites, country/folk band Belle and The Busker
- 15:00 - Lead singer of the NFL’s UK house band Tanya Seifert

Saturday July 22nd:
- 12:00 - Motown and soul singer Abigail Scott
- 14:00 - Mayor of London GIGS competition

On top of the on stage line-up, an amazing mix of DJ’s, brass bands, dancers and performers will be keeping visitors entertained in-between these acts.

The jewel in the crown of the two day event will be the Hatton Garden Diamond Hunt sponsored by Heming, a free to enter treasure hunt where the winner will receive a certified 1ct diamond at the close of the festival. To enter simply head to The Hatton Garden BID website www.hatton-garden.london and explore the Hatton Garden area answering all of the questions.

The winner will be announced at the festival at 4pm on Saturday 22nd July and will not only receive the diamond but the fantastic opportunity to work with Heming to design, set and create a bespoke piece of jewellery worth £10,000.
