This Friday evening (6-7.30pm), get ready to rock as French band, Mendrack bring their eclectic mix of folk, reggae and alternative rock straight from the streets of Orléans to the concourse of St Pancras International, in celebration of Bastille Day (14th July).
Already famed for its pianos and recently launched free-to-play jukebox, St Pancras International is continuing with its calendar of new and exciting music acts with this unique one-off performance under the iconic station roof. As well as their own tracks, Mendrack will be singing their rendition of songs from French artists including Noir Désir, as well as recognisable hits from John Lennon and Bob Marley to encourage the crowd to singalong.
St Pancras International is also offering the chance for one lucky gig-goer to WIN a pair of Eurostar tickets to Paris so the French-filled celebrations can live on! Visitors simply need to take a photo of themselves at Mendrack’s exclusive gig and share on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #StPancrasBastilleDay, where a winner will be chosen at random.
A destination in its own right, St Pancras International offers a wealth of premium shops, eateries and stylish bars and for tomorrow only, Searcys will be serving up Pastis – an anise-flavoured spirit and apéritif to treat taste buds to a flavour from the South of France.
To continue the journey to France without leaving the station, why not indulge in natural beauty products from L’OCCITANE, whose ranges are renowned for capturing the spirit of Provence. The station has also recently welcomed French clothing brand, Petit Bateau, to its wealth of premium retailers, making St Pancras International the perfect place to enjoy the sounds, tastes and atmosphere of France this Bastille Day.
Mendrack will be live in the station performing from 6-7:30pm on the main concourse opposite Eurostar arrivals.
Join St Pancras International in celebrating Bastille Day and don’t miss out on a chance to win a trip to Paris!
