Brand new concept store, The Subculture Archives, has opened its doors at 3 Carnaby Street, London. The store features a curated collection of subculture and counterculture prints as well as craft and clothing from a specially selected collective of independent artists and photographers.

From now until August 2017, The Subculture Archives will be hosting exclusive events from day raves to artist talks.

Thursday 20 July, 6-9pm, Mancunian rave photographer Peter Walsh discusses his work in documenting the 1980s Manchester rave scene and how this nostalgic movement speaks to young people today more than ever.

Thursday 27 July, 6-10pm, photographer Owen Harvey launches his guest exhibition with work harking back to the foundations of Mod culture in the UK. Owen’s work delves deeper into the progressive nature of the Mod movement and captures what it means to be a member of this iconic subculture today.

Head to The Subculture Archives every Wednesday from 1-2pm for a free lunchtime rave. Acid House DJs will play iconic tunes to break up your busy work day with music and dancing.

Brand new to the store, the Vendart vending machine sells affordable subculture and counterculture art ranging from 90p up to £25.
