Absent Kelly Introducing: Faded Shades

Another night of top indie is set for New Cross’s Amersham Arms this July, with some true hidden gems.

After impressing promoters Absent Kelly at a previous show, Faded Shades return. These three lads from Kent specialise in crafting indie with an edge of Britpop and a hint of Americana. This sound has seen them bag radio airplay a plenty, and slots at local festivals.

Aaron Green & the Blues Mess Band are a London quartet that play grungy, bluesy indie. The band was born out of Aaron Green’s solo project and, despite being relatively new to the scene, are already turning heads.

Joining us all the way from York for the show is Alleyways, an indie pop band with an undeniable groove. The band’s funky edge is sure to get you dancing and has already gained them radio airplay.
