BLOOD: Life Uncut, an exhibition and event series that reveals the captivating, visceral power of blood to expose, shock and save lives

This workshop asks: Do you have what it takes to be a surgeon? No matter what the prognosis, procedure or problem, blood is omnipresent in surgery. How do medical professionals keep it flowing, keep it working hard throughout your body, and finally allow it to return to be hidden in your arteries and veins? Hayley Kruger, from the Royal College of Surgeons, and Julie Mathias, Acting Director, will guide you through history’s surgical toys.
