Move over Damien Hirst, the Tash Modern is opening its doors to the public for one-day only to offer a free art experience like no other…

Taking place in one of London’s hairiest hangouts, Shoreditch, Panasonic Grooming is hosting an art gallery dedicated to beards, moustaches and everything in between. On Wednesday 26th July, the Tash Modern will be celebrating the nations eclectic facial hair by putting real guys and their ‘moustacherpieces’ in the spotlight.
Visitors can discover and celebrate the diverse styles of Britain’s bearded blokes through immersive installations, human models (real life bushy heads on plinths to chat to, pose with or admire) and complimentary barber trims using the brand-new Panasonic i-Shaper Trimmer. Once trimmed, or if your beard is already ‘on-point’, you can even submit your own face to be posted on the walls of the gallery for five minutes of Instagram-worthy fame.

Adding to the immersive experience, there’ll be digital mirrors for even the ladies to become the beard-envy of their Instagram followers and a giant interactive piece of hairy artwork which has been created by London-based artist Scarlett Bowman - yes, even the art can be shaved.

If you have a strong beard-game or simply appreciate follicle growth, this is well worth paying a visit. The most epic barbers, ever? Quite possibly…
