The Candlelight Club: 1920s party

A clandestine 1920s speakeasy party in a secret London venue completely lit by candles, with live jazz bands, cabaret and retro-DJs. The bar dispenses vintage cocktails and the kitchens offer a fine-dining set menu and bar snacks.

For our first party after the summer we're thrilled to welcome back the eight-piece Swing'It Dixieband, all the way from Norway, who played such a blinder in April. The classic line-up is actually disbanding as frontman Martin goes off on a Jazz Odyssey round the world, but we've persuaded them to stay together for a few weeks longer just to play at our party!

Presiding over the speakeasy mayhem will be Lord of Cabaret Misrule Champagne Charlie, and when the band aren't playing, our house DJ Auntie Maureen will be spinning vintage shellac for your dancing pleasure.

Guests receive an email two days before revealing the secret location and are encouraged to dress in 1920s outfits—so pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston.
