Festival of Fire and Light

London Mela presents Festival of Fire and Light @ Wembley Park is inspired by two different traditions - a very British celebration, Guy Fawkes Night, and a South Asian one, Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights.

Historically Brent has paid host to both and Festival of Fire and Light brings the two traditions together over a one-day event, that will feature the Tastes of Asia Food Market, a lantern and carnival processions as well as street theatre and music.

The day will see the awesome Mobile Homme by Transe Express, collaborating with London's finest, the Dhol Academy with a spectacular firework finale that will light up the night sky over Wembley Stadium.
