100 years of women in the naval services

November 1917 saw the formation of the Women’s Royal Naval Service. This unique event will bring together women who have served or are currently serving in the naval services, to discuss their experiences, what has changed, and what has stayed the same, since the First World War. There will be an accompanying display of supporting documents from our collection.
