The UK premiere of a poetic, funny, hopeful and desperate new play from Slovakian writer Zuza Ferenczova, directed by Tony Casement.

‘Girl’ has a problem. ‘Girl’ is fourteen and pregnant. The father is probably her dad, and her two school friends Kika and Ika only want to talk about seducing their P.E teacher. Then she meets ‘Boy’. Boy: Do you always drink like that? Girl: Not always. Boy: Don’t drink more. You smell bad Girl: Would you be willing to help me if needed to kill myself a bit? Boy: What do you mean a bit? Jump out of Skin is about mental health, social isolation, and the crazy, exhilarating, ridiculous experience of being a teen.

Performed by GLYPT’s Progression Company: an initiative that supports young artists into the creative industries.

‘Brilliantly contemporary’ ***** (Lyn Gardener, The Guardian, for Tony Casement’s production of ‘Saturday Night and Sunday Morning’)

The performance on Thursday 12th October will be followed by a post-show discussion on the themes of the play.
