Internationally renowned, contemporary British artist Lauren Baker announces the launch of The Colour Of Energy exhibition, to coincide with the opening of her brand new gallery and studio premises on Floral Street, Covent Garden.

Crowned as the ‘Queen of Neon’ by Le Cool and touted as ‘One to Watch’ by the Tate. Baker, a multidisciplinary artist represented by 15 galleries worldwide is best known for her neon work; using light to express her positive messages and raise the vibration of love and connection in the world.

Inspired by the Icelandic spectacle of the Aurora Borealis and subsequent research into aura energy colours, Lauren Baker presents The Colour Of Energy; a fully immersive, multi- sensory exhibition.

The artwork is presented in an experiential setting, transporting the viewer to an augmented reality.  The collection of seven pieces, derived from research of the energy chakras, colour therapy and intuition, mix the mediums of refracted light, subtle sound and movement, unique textures and expressive digital painting.

The audience are invited to experience a metaphysical interpretation of unseen energy, both feeling and listening to the energetic vibrations of the art. The artist states, ‘Everything has an energy and a frequency. We all have an energy or aura. I wish to visually and physically interpret unseen energy. These artworks are multi-sensory perceptions of energy’.

An aura photo machine will be present during ‘The Colour Of Energy’ exhibition where visitors can have their own aura photographed. Through a process that visually captures the electromagnetic energy given off by a person or an object, the viewer can see their own human atmosphere and personally experience the art of aura photography during this astounding exhibition.

The Lauren Baker Gallery will house an exciting and subversive calendar of exhibitions over the next 3 months promising to breathe new life into the heart of London’s art scene.

This will include workshops in which the public can have a go at making some of Lauren's signature artwork as part of her Creativity Myth movement.
