Taste of the World in London!

From 12 to 16 October London’s TRIBE17 Art Festival will present a famous project by Russian artist Masha Trotzky.

Born in Moscow, Masha Trotzky currently lives in Belgium, where she works as a PhD researcher at the Free University of Brussels. She started her art career in 2009 and became the "Best Photographer of Russia" in 2010. As national award winner, she received the Silver Graphis Award in New York (2014) and the Aesthetica Art Prize in UK (2015).

"I've never been interested in photography as in mere light reflection. I do almost never use Photoshop. It's really interesting for me, not only to expose the reality existing, but to create, to construct my own version of it, to find protagonists. This process resembles theatre, with costumes and scenery. Photography gives only simplicity of exposure."

Art project «Taste of the World» represents stereotypical ideas of different nations about each other. It was already exhibited in Moscow, Florence, Hamburg, Milan and will be shown in London for the first time.
