Mycenae House - a former convent – is transformed for the evening into a fabulous jazz club with great acoustics and a stunning grand piano kindly donated by Markson Pianos. Versatile jazz vocalist Annie Dehaney-Steven (and winner of the 2009 Angela Carrington prize) will host this unique event. The star guest will be acclaimed singer/songwriter Earl Okin who has performed all over the world – including the famous jazz club Birdland in New York – and is renowned for his vocal-trumpet solos! Also appearing will be award-winning composer Nigel Hanson, a former cathedral chorister, and vocalist Kaz McColl. Accompanying them will be David Silk (bass) and Philip (Amadeus) Mead (piano) with a full supporting cast of other great musicians and guests.
