A Night of Czech & British Jazz at Cafe in the Crypt

A two act musical evening with two outstanding jazz ensembles featuring UK based musicians led by Nigel Price and the Czech trio Fragile Bliss.

Award winning jazz guitarist Nigel Price (Best Jazz Ensemble in the 2010 and 2016 Parliamentary Jazz Awards) blends be-bop lines, deep blues sensibility and masterful chording. Combining forces with pianist Gabriel Latchin and bassist Conor Chaplin, they will play classic, swinging jazz from the American songbook.

Following their successful debut at the 2017 Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival, the instrumental Czech trio Fragile Bliss - Luboš Malina (banjo), Tomáš Liška (double bass) and Michal Nejtek (piano) - will feature ´new acoustic music´, dynamic and playfully original compositions inspired by jazz, bluegrass, contemporary classical and folk music.
