Following on from the success of the Waterloo Christmas Singalong 2016, WeAreWaterloo in partnership with the National Theatre, Vaults Theatre, St John’s Church, and Go-Ahead London are now preparing for 2017. This free event is set to be bigger and better than ever before with choirs from across London accompanied by a young brass-ensemble, the very entertaining Harvey Brough from Harvey and the Wallbangers and most importantly, members of the public who are invited to join in for a jolly good singalong.

With fantastic new festive lighting, historic Lower Marsh again provides the ideal setting for the event where a vintage open top London bus will provide the stage for the carols and modern Christmas favourites from 6-7pm. This year there will be even more reason to stay and enjoy the evening with a Christmas market providing Christmas treats and cheer in the form of mulled wine, mice pies, stocking fillers, decorations and crafts. These activities will continue until 8pm with the brass ensemble backdrop.

This year we’ll be covering everything from O, Come all ye Faithful to Mariah. Sheet music for all songs will be distributed ahead of time to participating choirs to learn the songs before the event. The words will be handed out to the public at the event too.

The event is free but bring some change for the collection buckets - any money raised will be donated to support the Waterloo Food Bank. The event is fully accessible and seating will be provided and prioritise to any attendee who requires it.
