Celebrate Christmas With The Gruffalo At Chessington

Winter’s Tail is back at Chessington World of Adventures Resort this festive season, starring a special guest with ‘terrible tusks, and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws’. That’s right, the Gruffalo will lead the festivities at the Resort this year with plenty of Christmas activities, plus selected rides, animals and a Father Christmas Grotto. With something for all the family to enjoy, the enchanting experience is open on selected dates between December 2, up to and including Christmas Eve.

With the Gruffalo taking over the Resort Guests can float down the lazy river on The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, new this year, and join Mouse as he journeys through the deep dark wood as the much loved story of The Gruffalo* magically unfolds before their eyes, with exciting twists and turns along the way.

That’s not all… join the Gruffalo’s Child on a treasure trail around the Resort; decorate festive treats in the Gruffalo’s Kitchen and cosy up and enjoy a wintery tale with The Gruffalo’s Child Story Time. As it isn’t Christmas without a family film, showings of The Gruffalo’s Child will also be taking place.

Even though he is very busy getting everything ready for the ‘big day’, families will also get to meet Father Christmas himself in his magical Grotto. Plus receive an early Christmas gift**.
