GAVIN & Stacey co-creator Ruth Jones (MBE) is teaming up with television news legend John Sergeant and actors Edward and Freddie Fox for Hope and Homes for Children’s Christmas carol concert in Kensington.

The stars of TV and film will be giving guest readings at the St Mary Abbotts Church festive fundraiser on December 6, alongside performances by singer songwriter Freya Ridings, the London Suzuki Group and the Deutsche Bank Singers.

The evening’s festivities will raise crucial funds for Hope and Homes for Children’s End the Silence Appeal, which aims to end the silent suffering of 120,000 children confined to Rwandan and Ugandan orphanages. The UK Government will double every penny raised on the night.

The concert starts at 7pm, with tickets costing £20. The price includes a complimentary mince pie and refreshments. Tickets can be purchased in advance by telephoning 01722 790111, or visiting website.

Tickets are also available for a pre-carol concert Christmas Tea at the St Mary Abbots Centre between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
