Attendees will be able to get into the festive spirit by singing carols and enjoying a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie, and to learn more about the charity’s work. There will be a live musical performances and readings from special guests. The charity will also invite older people who have benefitted from its services to attend.

One of the special guests who has been confirmed is actor Richard Wilson, best known for his role as Victor Meldrew in the BBC sitcom One Foot in the Grave. Richard will give a reading at the service.
