The 2017 London Children’s Book Fair

Enter the wonderful world of books at The 2017 London Children’s Book Fair at Parasol unit, presenting the best of contemporary children’s literature. As everyone has a special story to tell, this year’s Book Fair celebrates storytelling. Open to all, from toddlers to teens, admission to the Book Fair is free for the whole family. It takes place at Parasol unit’s galleries on Friday and Saturday 15–16 December 2017.

The 2017 London Children’s Book Fair promotes literacy among children, young people and families in the community by encouraging the joy of reading through literary and art workshops, readings by favourite authors, poetry, and storytelling sessions. Featuring some of the most innovative and imaginative publishers, authors and illustrators of books for children and young people, this family event will also include book signings, educational workshops and a collaborative live drawing session with this year’s specially commissioned illustrator, Emily Rand.

The 2017 London Children’s Book Fair gives audiences of many different backgrounds and ages an opportunity to find their individual creative voice and to share it with one another.
