We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive Gala Screening of WORLDwrite's new film, 1917: Why The Russian Revolution Matters on Sunday November 26th at 12 noon.

In the film, humanity's greatest experiment in social change is brought to life through compelling interviews, incisive analysis and extraordinary archive. It explores the context, causes and consequences of ten days that shook the world and defined politics throughout the twentieth century.

Filmed to mark the centenary, this documentary challenges ahistorical and myth-making approaches to this landmark event in history.

The screening will take place at the beautifully restored Castle Cinema, 64 - 66 Brooksby's Walk, London, E9 6DA (Near Homerton Station).

There will be a Q&A after the screening with Ceri Dingle, the director of the film and special guests.

Sunday lunch in a bun will also be available along with the cinema's splendid bar.

To watch the trailer and for more information about the film, see website.
