On 2/3 December, the East London ceramics makerspace, Turning Earth, is holding a huge maker market in its beautiful new studios in Argall Avenue E10.

120 makers will peddle their wares over the course of the weekend. Every item on sale has been made with care and in community.

To inspire you, members will demonstrate making techniques throughout the weekend. Great Pottery Throwdown winner, model Ryan Barrett, will be 3D printing on a machine he made in a shed in his garden. Instagram star Tom Kemp will showcase his mesmeric, now internationally famous throwing skills.

Members of The Turbans return with a soundtrack of live Balkan klezma while you browse. Crepes will be flipped and mulled wine and mince pies dished out on the roof terrace adjacent to the studio.

The Turning Earth Winter Market is part of the very first Mentmore Open Studios at Argall Ave E10. Meet the makers at Wildercreative and Uncommon Projects, who will show you bespoke design using the CNC machine. Pavilion Cafe & Bakery will open its doors for tours and samples. think FOUND will show you how they repurpose materials to make tailored furniture for your home. Lighthaus cafe is supplying a full lunch menu and coffee.
