Other Christmas events at Borough Market

• Christmas food preparation demonstrations take place every Thursday in November at Borough Market’s Demo kitchen, including celebrating with shellfish (Richard Kirkward) and cuisines from global cultures (Jenny Chandler).

• In December, the Demo kitchen includes celebrating Chanukah on 15th December with Emma Spitzer and a Christmas recipe from The Dean of Southwark Cathedral the very Reverend Andrew Nunn on 20th December.

• Wednesday 6th December will see the switching on of the Christmas lights and from then on the market will be open every day in December including Sundays.

• Late Night Shopping Times
In what has become a Christmas tradition at the Market, we will be extending our opening hours to allow shoppers more time to stock up on gifts and food for the Christmas dinner table. This includes three late nights: 13th, 20th and 21st December, where we'll be open until 8pm, allowing you to pick up those all important ingredients, and we’ll be joined by local choirs throughout the month.
