SPRING STAMPEX 2018

Stampex International, sponsored by Stanley Gibbons, is the UK’s largest philatelic exhibition, showcasing a masterful presentation of collected stamps from stamp dealers and specialists from all over the world. This 4-day event brings together philatelists from around the world and attracts stamp enthusiasts who want to learn more about the history of stamps and the hobby itself. The show is organised twice a year by The Philatelic Traders’ Society (PTS).
Spring Stampex 2018 will take place at the Business Design Centre (BDC) in Islington, London from 14-17th February 2018.

For Children
Charity Stamp Active Network will offer a variety of activities for children throughout the week, to help them understand more about stamps and interest them in the hobby of stamp collecting. The team will set up a free and interactive photo booth and host a live auction for kids on Saturday.

For non-collectors
Stamps in the Attic is an initiative aimed to get people to search through their stamp collections in the hope of unearthing valuable stamp sets. Stampex International presents excellent opportunities to speak to official stand holders about past collections and have them valued on site for free. Should visitors decide to sell, there are plenty of opportunities to do so at the exhibition.

Unlike most other London-based shows, entry to Stampex International is free and all who visit may purchase a show-specific Limited Edition Smilers Sheet and a free showguide and postcard; all of which make lovely keepsakes and souvenirs and are highly collectable pieces.
