After the huge success of ‘The Colour Of Energy’, Baker’s second solo show; ‘Walk Towards The Light’ continues the artist’s Floral Street debut, in a blaze of neon light.

Packed with positivity, this exhibition has unorthodox roots, beginning with the artist becoming increasingly disillusioned with the corporate world and overwhelmed by the state of global news headlines. Travelling to the Peruvian Amazon, she spent time with shamans, learning from them and experiencing the profound effects of being immersed in nature.

Baker returned to London with a newfound sense of purpose and determination to create art that could capture and share the powerful healing energy that she had experienced – focusing on unseen energy, electromagnetic fields, auras, positivity and light.

The artist states, "I feel that in these dark times, it's hard not to be overcome by fear.'

This heavy world consciousness inspired Baker to focus on the messages of unity, love and passion depicted in Walk towards the Light. “To lift ourselves up it all starts with a flicker of light. I want to send an outpour of love and positivity. This is the essence of the work I present".

Viewers can expect to see brand new, Limited Edition neons and prints including the infamous ‘F****** Amazing’, ‘To the Moon and Back’ and ‘Unraveling The Cluttered Mind’: A seven colour neon squiggle that represents a state of mind.

Get ready to be positively empowered…everything’s going to be f****** amazing!

‘’This show will lift the soul!” Lorenzo Belenguer, Art Critic

“Lauren Baker is a beacon of light and her neon visions are enthused with hope and a sprinkle of something somewhat magical.” Sarah Williams, Head of Art Buying, M&C Saatchi
