See the World’s First Christmas Card and Singalong with a Postman’s Choir: It’s the First Ever Museum Late at The Postal Museum

Join the newly opened Postal Museum’s first ever museum late for an adults-only evening of feel good festive cheer, with mulled wine, Christmas jumpers and singalongs with a choir formed of postmen and women (naturally).

Visitors to the event will be free to roam the museum gallery by night, listening to talks from wandering Christmas elves showing off the world’s first ever Christmas card, a Christmas present to soldiers fighting in the First World War and one of the world’s oldest advertising campaigns.

To top it off, it will even be possible for guests to reconnect with their inner child and tell Santa what they really want for Christmas, awaiting a special reply all the way from Lapland.

And make sure you wear your jazziest Christmas jumper for your chance to win a special festive prize. Guests game for a laugh (or with no sense of social shame) will need to enter via @ThePostalMuseum on social media, and use the hash tag #MuseumXmasJumper.
