£26 for adults, £13 for children including costume
About the event
It's back! The National Literacy Trust's Where's Wally? fun run will be returning to Clapham Common on Sunday 18 March 2018.
Be a Wally for literacy and join hundreds as they walk, jog or run around Clapham Common dressed as the well-loved children's character Wally.
There will also be a festival area, where runners and spectators will find food and hot beverages, kids' activities including rides, and our runners' lounge, where participants can find out their race results, collect their goody bags and medals and relax after the race.
This year we'd love it if you could help us celebrate our 25th anniversary and raise as much money as possible! We’re asking participants to raise at least £100 if they’re taking part as an individual, £150 if they’re fundraising as a family, or£30 for children.
- £30 will help parents bond with their babies through reading on neo-natal wards
- £100 will help to set up National Literacy Trust Hubs and create long-term change in areas of low literacy
- £150 will train three volunteers to work with the parents of young children to help them develop children’s literacy and communication skills
