Carol Concert with Lesley Garratt OBE

Be treated to performances by world-famous soprano singer Lesley Garrett CBE at Bowel Cancer UK’s Christmas carol concert at St Marylebone Parish Church, London on Thursday 7 December at 6pm.

Bowel Cancer UK’s Carols Together, led by Lesley Garrett CBE and City of London School for Girls plus other special guests, is an unmissable part of Christmas in London. Lesley will sing a selection of her favourite songs whilst the choirs will perform festive carols, followed by festive refreshments.

St Marylebone Church will proudly host a Christmas tree for guests to write special messages to loved ones on a beautiful Bowel Cancer UK ‘Star of Hope’ decoration. Lesley Garrett CBE says: “I am delighted to be appearing at the Bowel Cancer UK Carol Service on December 7th this year. Bowel cancer is likely to touch all of us at some point in our lives either personally, through family and friends, or as in my case, the loss of a loved one.

“It's important to come together, not only to spread the word about the support that Bowel Cancer UK can give those affected by the disease, but also to celebrate the many successes that the charity is responsible for. I hope you will all join us at Marylebone Parish
Church for a wonderful Christmas celebration.”

More than 44 people die from bowel cancer every day in the UK; it’s the nation’s second biggest cancer killer. However it shouldn’t be. It’s treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early.
