About the event
On 1 February 2018, Co-operation Ireland’s annual City of London Dinner will be held at The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspapers Makers, Stationers’ Hall, located on Ave Maria Lane close to St Paul’s Cathedral. This is the 7th year of the event which attracts some of the top companies in the City of London.
Through this unique occasion, Co-operation Ireland will provide an ideal opportunity to bring together business and political leaders from the City, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland under the
theme ‘Economics to Help Drive Peace and Peace Initiatives to Help Support Growth’. The charity is also delighted that BBC News Foreign Correspondent, Fergal Keane, will speak on the evening.
Co-operation Ireland is the leading peace-building charity on the island of Ireland. Her Majesty the Queen and the President of Ireland are Patrons, and the Charity has the support and endorsement of
the British and Irish Governments. Its cross-border, cross-community initiatives and programmes for young people contribute to maintaining the peace process, and help build a vibrant society through
respect for diversity, peace and reconciliation. In the current uncertain political climate, this work has even more relevance for young people who hold the key to the future and are the leaders of tomorrow.
If you would like to support the work of Co-operation Ireland by attending the dinner, individual places at a cost of £180 per person, or tables of 10 at £1,800 are available. There is also a range of event sponsorship opportunities attached, together with a booking form.
The evening will consist of a drinks reception followed by a 4-course dinner served with wine. Dress code is Black Tie.
