Sounds of the Foreshore

For our first InHouse family workshop accompanying Sriwhana Spong’s exhibition a hook but no fish, join Fritha Jenkins to create sound sculptures using materials from the Thames foreshore, water and natural objects. Use your sound sculpture to make different rhythms. Experiment with different ways of responding and playing the objects you create. What sounds do they make? Do certain objects play well together? Take your sculpture home or leave it in the space for others to play and experiment with.

Soundtracks recorded at the workshop will be uploaded and available to listen to online.

Drop-in workshops for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
