Surface Tensions

What sounds do different surfaces make? Drop in to this family workshop, accompanying Sriwhana Spong’s exhibition a hook but no fish, as we construct playable surfaces and experiment with ways of playing them through listening, looking and touching. Join Fritha Jenkins as we test out contact mics to pick up the minute sounds of yours and other peoples surfaces and use these to create your own live track. Surfaces will be added to the installation to be played by others and used in the performance in the last week.

Soundtracks recorded at the workshop will be uploaded and available to listen to online.
