Linking with our current exhibition and a nod to Prospero, the show follows the adventures of two children who find themselves on a magical island. There they meet a friendly cloaked magician who teaches them how to become magicians themselves.
They also encounter singing animal puppets, that used to be children, who have fallen under the spell of the pirates that live on the island. By not being afraid, the two little heroes magically break the pirate spell that has been cast over the island.
Children come up to help out and often the magic happens in their very own hands, all leading up to the story’s happy ending.
This show keeps children and adults alike entertained and completely captivated. At the end of the show, children will be given themed art activity which they can complete either in the gallery or at home. Suitable for 4yr – 8yrs and their parent/carer but all welcome.
