Jazz at Mycenae House

Double bass player David Silk has been running and hosting an exciting array of unique jazz-based events for over 40 years, with a wide and varied roster of musicians and artists. Tonight he will transform Mycenae House - a former convent – into a fabulous jazz club with great acoustics and a stunning grand piano (kindly donated by Markson Pianos). Tonight his star guest will be Phil Veacock. Phil is perhaps best known for his work as tenor saxophonist and arranger in Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. In this role he has performed with and arranged for just about everybody of note in popular music today. Hosting the event will be David Silk (bass) with a full supporting cast of other truly wondrous musicians and fabulous guests.
