A LEADING cancer charity is launching its new free support course in Hammersmith for parents/guardians of teens/young adults with cancer.

Up to two parents/guardians per young person can attend Penny Brohn UK’s Living Well course at St Paul’s Centre, Queen Caroline Street, on March 3 and 10, from 10am-5pm.

The course addresses cancer’s physical and psychological impact and shows how healthy eating, exercise and relaxation can improve health and wellbeing, before, during and after medical treatment.

Penny Brohn Living Well development manager – London, Supriya More, said: “This course is perfect for parents/guardians who need support but do not know which way to turn.

“Cancer can be overwhelming for the family, but many small things can add up to make a big difference to the way people cope. Our Living Well helps people take back some control of their lives.”

With over 37 years’ experience, Penny Brohn understands that cancer impacts everything and the number affected is increasing.

Living Well courses across London are free and empower people with cancer and their supporters to rediscover their joy of living.

Places are limited and first come, first served.
