A Vanished Kingdom - Closing Event

A Vanished Kingdom will be the closing event for Theatre Voliere’s Marchland 2018, and we want to create a small tradition of our own to mark the occasion: Each year, we’ll be asking one of our performers to close the season by singing Gottingen, by Barbara. This year it will be the multi-talented Audrey L’Ebrellec, from La Soupe’s Evocation. It’s often said that the song Gottingen did more to aid the post-war reconciliation between France and Germany than any speech by a politician. It’s a beautiful, heartbreaking, hopeful song, and Audrey’s interpretation of it will make a fitting finale to Marchland.
