NLA’s Don’t Move, Improve! Design Surgeries returns this year, offering FREE advice and inspiration to Londoners looking to extend their homes. Thinking of extending your home and looking for inspiration and tips on how to get started? Join us for a day of one-to-one consultations, expert talks on best design and making the most of your space, family walking tours and workshops, and much more!

Gain insight from our award-winning architects and hear their top tips on creating the best home extension.
 
- Do’s and Don’ts: How to improve your home (10:00 – 10:45)
- Design Inspiration (12:30 – 13:30)
 
Design Surgeries
Whatever question you have about an extension you’re looking to embark upon or are progressing with, our wide range of consultants will be on hand to help in 25-minute one-to-one sessions. Consultants include this year’s shortlisted architects, and other practitioners including interior designers, engineers, party wall surveyors, and landscape architects.
 
Family Activities
Bring the kids and get involved in our exciting series of family activities happening throughout the day.
 
- Family Walking Tours: 11:30 & 14:00 (45 minute tours)
- Family Workshops: 11:00 - 16:00
