Mammothfest Best Band London 2018 - Heat 1 & 2

Heats 1 & 2 of the Mammothfest Best Band London + surrounding counties 2018 competition. Eight bands compete across two heats, with TWO bands progressing from each Heat to the London Final on the 8th April.

Competing bands are (in no particular order):

Heat 1 (Doors 14:30 - first band starts at 14:50)
Who Killed Nancy Johnson? - Post-punk from Reading
Caskets - Grunge/Doom 4-piece from London
Estrangor - Old-school Heavy Metal from London
Counterfall - Metalcore from Aberdeen

Heat 2 (first band starts at 18:40)
Spectral Darkwave - Symphonic Death/Doom from Hertfordshire
REVENTURE - Experimental Electronic/Metal from Winchester
N3RV - Nu Metal from Oslo
NO:VA - post-hardcore from Brighton

The running order for the Heats will not be announced, so be sure to be there from the start to catch your favourite act!

There will also be a Special Guest Headline performance from Raised By Owls!

The judging criteria is split between Special Guests, Guest Judges and Audience Vote - all have an equal weighting.

The Winners from Heat 1 will be announced at 18:00 and from Heat 2 after the Guest Headliner.
