Harrow Choral Society is preparing for a very special Spring Concert at the Elliot Hall, Harrow Arts Centre, on 24th March when the 100-strong choir will perform two contrasting works: Mozart’s Requiem and Vaughan Williams’s dramatic cantata, Dona Nobis Pacem.

“These are choral masterpieces in their own right but in the year which sees the centenary of the end of the First World War we hope that they also represent a fitting tribute to those who fought and died in the conflict,” said HCS Chairman Peter Miller. The choir will be conducted by Music Director Simon Williams and accompanied by the Aeolian Sinfonia with Julie Bale as soprano soloist.
