Indulge and delight in a pop-up evening of the Bard's best fare. We're serving up a Shakespearean foodie fantasy! On offer: a taster menu of Shakespeare, from classic scenes to rare gems, perfectly paired with 6 courses of delicious dishes. Each scene is served simultaneously with the course it has inspired (imagine tucking into a hearty meat pie during Titus Andronicus!). All of this in truly majestic surroundings- Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon's wedding feast chamber! Every seat in this intimate venue is front row as you watch Shakespeare's take on history in the very place it happened. Dinner and diversions in fashionable historic surrounds- a complete immersive experience.

Space is limited and there are only 4 dates!

The menu will be devised with their Executive Head Chef Julian Marshall who has been working in London for 25 years alongside Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay, amongst others. He's served the likes of Prince Charles and Alain Ducasse, and now runs the 4 restaurants at Bleeding Heart Yard. The wines (including Champagne Swagger upgrade) will be selected by their sommelier who's responsible for their award-winning wine list, which has been named as ‘one of the best in the world’ for the past 20 years by the prestigious Wine Spectator.

Venue: St. Etheldreda's church is the oldest Catholic church in England, dating back to the 13th century. It was the site of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon's wedding feast (it was then part of the Palace of Ely). It also, of course, has many links to Shakespeare himself, his famous scene about strawberries in Richard II (which will be a part of our performance!) references the very place where diners will be dining.
