The topic up next for discussion next at Midtown Big Ideas Exchange - London’s most dynamic series of debates – will be ‘London as a place to live’. Rebellious minds will consider the ways in which London is changing and contemplate challenges such as: how will the homes of the future meet London’s needs? How will the shifting balance between rental, owned and mixed-use property affect London living? How will climate change affect transport or the role of local government? As London takes on megacity status, can it achieve economic power, cultural clout and fit-for-purpose homes?
The panel will be Chaired by Oli Barrett, social influencer and director of The Connector Unit, and include Georgia LA - Google, journalist, taste-maker and presenter, James McClure - GM Northern Europe at Airbnb, Janice Morley - editor of Homes and Property, The Evening Standard – and more TBA.
The Midtown Big Ideas Exchange is hosted by BEE Midtown, in partnership with London Evening Standard. BEE Midtown strives to improve the philanthropy and sustainability of London’s Midtown district through connecting businesses and ideas.
As with all the Midtown Big Ideas Exchange debates, audience tickets are free with prior registration and include complimentary drinks. Following the lively discussion there will be an opportunity for networking. This event takes place at wallacespace Clerkenwell.
