A tragicomedy about loss; told through a community who find solace in sharing in each other's hardship.

Produced and presented by New Fable Productions

Presented by The Cockpit
This tragicomedy is a play about loss and grief, written and directed by Ella Clarke; inspired by true events.

It tells the stories of seven professionals in the city over the period of six years, and their most influential chance meetings and events, which enabled them to deal with the pain brought about from experiences of hardship, hurt and unrequited love. Other subject matters include; struggles with manic depression, suicide, miscarriage, child bearing difficulties, and same sex relationships.

The piece is formed of drama, prose and physical theatre, with influences including Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter, Shakespeare, Sarah Kane and Kate Tempest.

" This play will inspire and amuse through seemingly dark subject matter - Ella (writer/director) has managed to intelligently and sensitively present a relatable and engaging show." Sarah Pring, Singer at The Royal Opera House.

The show first debuted in The Phoenix Artists Club in October 2017, and then for a short run over Easter in 2018, and was well received.
