WOS Productions is delighted to be performing this wild, warm and humorous 'Musical Western' set in the Old West of Deadwood City, based on the 1953 film starring Doris Day.
Calamity Jane can outrun and outshoot any man in Deadwood. Hard, boastful and desperate to impress, she travels to Chicago on the Deadwood Stage to recruit a star for the local saloon, The Golden Garter. But things don't go too smoothly for Calamity and she struggles to keep her jealousy and pride in check. It takes her long-standing adversary Wild Bill Hickok to make her see sense, and realise her Secret Love…
With an Oscar-nominated score, including 'The Black Hills of Dakota', 'The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away)', 'The Windy City', and the award-winning song ' (Once I Had A) Secret Love', don't miss this action packed, rip-roaring production that is blowing into Ruislip for just 5 performances and sure to be fun for all.
