John Lewes discusses his novel A Spy After All, based on the life of his uncle and co-founder of the SAS, Jock Lewes. Set in the wartime years of 1940-41, John Lewes’s novel tells the fictional account of Jock Steel, a young British Army officer and spy. The story features some of the real-life adventures of his uncle, Lieutenant Jock Lewes.
The novel showcases Jock’s exceptional abilities and enormous ambition to confound Britain’s enemies through suspense, action and glamour.
